Phantom Wallet Expands to Sui Network, Pioneering Multichain Growth
Phantom Wallet, renowned as the leading non-custodial multichain wallet in Web3, has announced its integration with the Sui blockchain, a "high-performant" network known for its innovative use of the Move programming language.
This partnership marks a historic milestone for Phantom, which boasts over 7 million monthly active users and a staggering 560 million on-chain transactions this year alone. With a host of features like staking, in-app swaps, NFT storage, and multichain support, Phantom is bringing its comprehensive wallet experience to the Sui ecosystem, making it the first blockchain beyond Solana, Bitcoin, and Ethereum to earn Phantom’s support.
The collaboration is a significant step forward for Sui's ecosystem, offering users access to Phantom’s advanced tools via browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave, and mobile apps on iOS and Android. "This integration brings a first-class wallet experience to Sui's community and highlights the growing trend toward a multichain future," said Jameel Khalfan, Global Head of Ecosystem at the Sui Foundation.
Phantom’s CEO, Brandon Millman, emphasized the synergy between the two platforms: "Sui's innovative scalability and developer-centric solutions align perfectly with our vision for supporting high-performance blockchains. We’re thrilled to expand Sui’s capabilities to our user base and drive its growth.”
As the Sui blockchain becomes a strategic addition to Phantom’s portfolio, the integration underscores a broader industry trend of moving beyond single ecosystems to embrace multichain interoperability. This alignment could catalyze new opportunities for developers and users alike, paving the way for a more interconnected blockchain landscape.
