Ergo (ERG) is a Resilient Platform for Contractual Money with the main focus to provide an efficient, secure and easy way to implement financial contracts. Support of light nodes allows it to run Ergo DApps and implement offchain protocols in a truly decentralized way. Ergo's on-chain miner voting protocol allows gradual changes in a large number of parameters including maximum block size, storage fee factor and more. Ergo is a self‐amendable protocol, uses widely-researched solutions while also preventing performance degradation over time with a new economic model.
