CryptoCrystal is a Japanese NFT gaming and collectibles project, released on May 11, 2018. The Shiny Crystals have personalities similar to humans while being overly cute like pet animals. Each of them is unique on Ethereum, with no duplicated DNA structure. Players can enjoy mining, collecting, and trading mysterious living minerals that live inside the Blockchain. CryptoCrystal was created as a subproject of Quan Inc., a prominent digital character company based in Tokyo, Japan with over 4.5 billion global downloads. Eventually, the project was handed over to the original developer team, who went on to release a mobile game in Japan using the CryptoCrystal IP, with over 70,000 downloads so far. Inspired by the success of Axie Infinity, CryptoCrystals is working to implement a play-to-earn model into their game. The vision is to allow players to collect the valuable Crystals in VR or in the meta-verse, similar to Pokemon GO.
CryptoCrystal is trading at a floor price of $40.14. There is a total of 9991 NFTs minted held by 1944 unique owners with a total market cap of $270,497.22.
