In under 48 hours after its debut on Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, a freshly minted memecoin on Solana (SOL) has surged to a remarkable $1.1 billion market capitalization.

Binance made waves on Saturday with the announcement of perpetual futures for Book of Meme (BOME), a coin conceptualized by art producer DarkFarms. Known for their creations revolving around Pepe the Frog, a popular figure in meme culture, DarkFarms crafted BOME with a unique artistic flair. The unveiling on Binance triggered an immediate surge in BOME's value, catapulting it from $0.0077 to $0.0268 within hours, marking an astounding rally of nearly 250%.

While BOME experienced a subsequent pullback, it is currently trading at $0.0186 at the time of reporting. Its market capitalization stands at $1.037 billion, with a fully diluted valuation reaching $1.297 billion.
